My flatmate had a jar of this stuff, it reminded me of the gathering of blue and red logos from my earlier post on Crispin Finn and also looked so jarringly American…*

I have just realized that there is a whole universe of slab fonts which has utterly passed me by – so I am making an effort to look closely at them and their uses  and add some good ones to my font library.

I saw a lovely display in Debenhams yesterday, I will try to post the pictures from my phone later.

*Jarring. Hurr.

I really like this rebrand, it’s so robust and timeless, particularly as applied to these pieces of print, contrasting the dynamic, bright wedge of colour with soft old photographs. Partially covering them feels poignant.

New Dames Merchandise

Hi everyone,

I’ve been pretty busy lately and haven’t had time to update the site – haven’t had time to do much illustration work or any private commissions. Will come back around to it though!
